Graphic & photographic
explorations

I often find myself in a coffee‑shop, spreading splashes of colour, texture and words across the table. From a stash of collected paper, hand‑drawn sketches, vintage collages, newspaper clippings, cut‑out sentences and postcards, I assemble what feel like tiny, precious treasures.

These spontaneous assemblages become the raw material for my graphic work, where observation, listening and the habit of emergence turn everyday fragments into layered visual stories.

Photographic documentation

I capture the fleeting gestures of the living world—both macro and micro landscapes and spontaneous encounters with light, texture, and natural fluxes.

I turn discarded papers, flyers and postcards into textured compositions that echo the rhythm of everyday life. I do Collage‑texture experimentation – layering inks, water‑colours, digital filters and scrap paper to create tactile, mood‑driven drawing-collage surfaces. Narrative stitching – weaving snippets of text (quotes, headlines, handwritten notes) into visual narratives that echo the improvisational flow of my sound practice, and sometimes taking those pieces onto stage with me. Observational listening – applying the same attentive, emergent mindset I use in free‑improvisation to spot visual cues, patterns and serendipitous juxtapositions both on the paper and in the surounding context.

I am often moved to record video (and sound) as well as photograph the processes of living and creation that I witness, immersing myself in the moment.

Moved by the process rather than the end product

Digital and hand‑making Flows

I create hand-made collages and photomontages, exploring graphic expression with Affinity Photo and Procreate. I also explore with iMovie and Stopmotion software.
